| The Maropeng
Interpretation Centre in the Cradle of Humankind provides an intriguing insight
into the development of our Earth and the human creatures that have penetrated
every habitat imaginable on our planet. This is followed a visit to the nearby
Rhino and Lion Park for a game drive, arriving there by about midday. A visit
to the Wonder Caves is also possible (time permitting). In the late afternoon, we travel to the interesting Lesedi Cultural Village, where we join some of the tribal folk of South Africa in their song and dance routines, and visit replicas of the traditional villages in which these folk used to live. Five different tribal cultures are represented here, and Lesedi provides an enthralling insight into the lives of South Africa's peoples. Dinner is a sumptuous affair, and you'll have the opportunity of tasting a wide variety of local dishes. These components can be provided separately, or in various combinations to suit individual requirements. |
